collections - alexander mcqueen resort 2012

This Alexander McQueen collection really reminded me of why I love fashion so much.  Sarah Burton continues to soar and rounds out her highly successful year of fashion after designing the dress for the Royal Wedding.  The whole collection was really well thought out and put together but it is the dresses that really spoke to me.

Each of these dresses has it's own personality from extreme detailing to perfectly proportioned volume to delicate lace, each one works on it's own and as a part of the collection.  This continues to make Alexander McQueen one to watch and makes me even more anxious to see what Sarah will deliver for Spring 2012.
