Kate Barnes is a fashion blogger and stylist living in Los Angeles, CA. With a 7 year background as a clothing buyer for a company with 50 locations nationwide, Kate has a vast array of experience dressing and purchasing for all types of women and men. 

Kate's love of fashion started at a young age and has grown and developed over the years culminating with the start of her blog, The Fashion Lily, in 2010.  Living in Los Angeles, Kate works with actors, writers, directors, and producers on film and photo shoots as a stylist and wardrobe consultant.

A graduate from the University of Michigan, Kate believes that you are your most fashionable self when you are your most confident self.  Through wardrobe and personal styling, Kate hopes to help everyone find their own love of fashion or, at least, find their most confident self.

Personal Styling

Each person's style is unique and individual to their lifestyle, personality, and body type and should be treated as such.  Starting with a 30-minute consultation, together we'll determine your fashion needs and style profile to make sure that you are getting the right items for your life and your wardrobe.  Whether you just need an outfit to wear for an event, a few options for auditions or photo/video shoots, or a complete style refresh, Kate will help you look and feel your best.   

Wardrobe Editing

Style starts in the closet.  While all of us have lots of great pieces we already own, we often struggle to put together tailored outfits or just can't find things that end up buried in the back of the closet.  We'll get into your closet and evaluate which items should stay, which should go, and how to make the most out of what you already own for your lifestyle.  Organizing as we go, you'll end up with a closet that is functional and sorted so that you have exactly what you need to get dressed every single day for any occasion.

Shopping management

Everyone knows that shopping with a friend is much more fun and is necessary to make sure you are getting items that fit and flatter.  With availability to go out to stores for an afternoon of shopping, or have pieces selected and brought to the comfort of your own home, Kate will make shopping a fun and easy experience.
